Dr Whitewood initially qualified as a Physiotherapist but his interest in musculoskeletal medicine inspired him to return to university so that he could complete his training, initially as a Doctor, but then subsequently specialising in orthopaedic surgery. Dr Whitewood now enjoys a general orthopaedic practice treating both adult and paediatric conditions.

  • Dr Whitewood has obtained Post-Graduate Fellowship Training in Lower Limb Joint Replacement Surgery in London (Ontario) and also completed a Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgery Fellowship at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne.
